Pumpkin is gentle and approachable, and helps inexperienced volunteers and participants alike to build skills and confidence in interacting with horses. When he’s not working in sessions, he enjoys a good nap in his stall.
Pumpkinā€™s extensive training helps teach the subtleties of seat, leg and rein aids to our students. His sensitivity is also helpful in psychotherapy sessions, as clients learn to read and convey nonverbal cues from the horses.
