Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) offers opportunities for participants to engage in hands-on learning opportunities with horses, and to explore the connections that can be made between horses and humans. In these groups, we explore topics such as:
- Mindfulness
- Communication
- Boundaries
- Collaboration
- Belonging and fit
- Safety and flexibility
EAL groups are tailored to the specific needs of each group. We offer programs for survivors of traumatic brain injury, individuals with social and communication challenges, veterans and service members, and businesses.
Groups are facilitated by qualified teams consisting of an equine specialist, a certified professional in mental health and/or education, and trained volunteers. EAL groups are scheduled according to the needs and availability of participants and facilitators.
