Lucy joined our herd many years ago, and from the beginning she had a knack for working in the equine-assisted psychotherapy arena. In fact, our mental health professionals often refer to Lucy as their co-therapist! She is purposeful and deliberate in engaging with trauma survivors, helping to make the invisible tangible and the unspeakable comprehensible. Lucy invites clients to communicate clearly, establish boundaries, and experience vulnerability in a safe space. Lucy takes daily medication to manage her metabolic condition.
Lucy’s flashy good looks and nurturing spirit have endeared her to many of our psychotherapy clients. She can often connect with clients who have experiences of trauma, offering a safe and nonjudgmental relationship.
